MADISON – Today, Wisconsin Family Action, Inc. (WFA) launched a mid-six-figure targeted, statewide, multi-media express advocacy campaign with the goal of bringing social conservatives and evangelical-leaning voters to the polls to cast a ballot. This campaign is targeting over 250,000 voters. This powerful voting block was crucial this last November and the last time a conservative won a seat on the Supreme Court. We believe Christians will be essential to ensuring Brad Schimel’s victory on April 1.
“Wisconsin Family Action cannot sit on the sidelines while Susan Crawford allies promote anti-Christian rhetoric. From the Bernie Sanders rally for her that insulted and mocked God, to her endorsement from Freedom From Religion Foundation Action Fund, to her husband’s book that called for increased state control and oversight over homeschool and private school options, Crawford has made her allegiance clear that she will be an activist for her far-left and anti-religious base,” said Daniel Degner, president of Wisconsin Family Action. “On the other hand, Brad Schimel has built a life of service revealing his character. Whether that is adopting his two daughters or being heavily involved in the Child Advocacy Center Task Force, Waukesha Food Pantry, or Safe Babies Healthy Families.”
The express advocacy ads will highlight Susan Crawford’s associations with extremist groups that provide puberty blockers for minors and advocate for state control over homeschooling and private school options.
This campaign consists of digital outreach combined with direct voter outreach through handwritten postcards, text messages, and phone calls.
“Our goal is to inform faith-based voters in Wisconsin about the role of our judiciary and to explain the radical difference between a justice who would tip the scales to favor of anti-religious ideology like Susan Crawford versus a justice like Brad Schimel who will honor the rule of law as prescribed by our state statutes and state constitution. We want Christians to cast their ballots by April 1, and to do so with the information they need to make a good choice, a choice that is in line with their values,” said Degner.
