As presidential candidates launch into the “10-week sprint” to November 5th, it’s worth reflecting on the Democratic National Convention (DNC) and what it revealed about the true nature of their platform.
Probably the most disturbing news to come out of the DNC was the announcement that Planned Parenthood would operate a mobile clinic outside the convention to perform free abortions and vasectomies on attendees. In total, nine vasectomies and eight chemical abortions took place during the convention through the mobile clinic. While the Democrats push hard to rebrand their party as “joyful,” conservatives are more accurately labeling them “the party of death” due to their all-out promotion of abortion.
In her acceptance speech, VP Harris vowed to sign into law a radical bill known as the “Women’s Health Protection” Act, which would nullify more than 1,300 pro-life laws around the nation, including laws that require parental consent for underage girls to receive abortions, laws that bar unlicensed individuals from performing surgical abortions, and laws that prohibit “sex-selective” abortions (aka eugenics).
But the radicalism on display at the DNC went further than pushing for abortion. One speaker mocked traditional views of marriage and family, particularly taking issue with Project 2025’s statement that married mothers, fathers, and their children are the “foundation of a well-ordered nation and healthy society,” and criticizing the researched-backed statement that “working fathers are essential to the well-being and development of their children.”
In her highly anticipated address, former First Lady Michelle Obama voiced her support for children who are transgender and/or homosexual, advocated for keeping pornographic “children’s” books in school libraries and curriculums, and, of course, endorsed abortion.
A new report revealed that over 70% of registered Democrats and Independents are unaware of Harris’s extreme views, such as supporting the elimination of private health insurance and her objectives to abolish U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and decriminalize illegal border crossings.
With the election right around the corner, it’s more important now than ever to educate the public on what the Harris-Walz ticket hopes to accomplish if they win the presidency. A government of the people requires engaged citizens. Being an engaged citizen doesn’t mean just voting; it also means being aware of policies and platforms and being a part of discussions. Have gracious and loving conversations with your co-workers, friends, and families. Ask them questions about their views and thoughts this election. Please join us in speaking up about the Left’s radical views and what a vote for the Harris-Walz ticket truly means.
