Tuesday, February 19, is Wisconsin’s spring nonpartisan primary election when the ballots are determined for the April 2 general election. While there is no statewide race on the ballot today, many communities will have primaries for mayors, city council, village and town boards, school boards, or local and appellate judges. Wisconsin Family Council recommends visiting myvote.wi.org to see if you have a primary race you need to vote in today, or you can also call WFC at 888-378-7395 for help. The polls are open statewide from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
It’s far better to check before the polls close now to see if you have a primary election on February 19 rather than to find out after the fact. As Christian citizens let’s do our part to be knowledgeable, responsible, and prayerful voters and encourage others to join us. Here’s the reality: Every election has consequences, and every vote in every election matters.
