Wisconsin Family Action (WFA) is proud to announce that WFA president Julaine Appling will be on two panels at the renown Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) held March 2-5 at the Gaylord National Resort and Conference Center in Washington, D.C.

CPAC was founded and is hosted each year by The American Conservative Union (ACU). According to ACU’s website, CPAC “combines ideas with action to leverage the strength of thousands of grass-roots activists to break through the resistance of Washington’s powerful elites.”

Recognizing the aptitude and competence of WFA president Julaine Appling, who has spent over 18 years working and advocating for strong families here in Wisconsin, the CPAC organizers invited her to attend as a subject matter expert, where she will be discussing on a panel scheduled for Thursday, the future potential of “The Family Prosperity Index,” a revolutionary tool for evaluating the ability of families to thrive in a particular state and comparing state rankings from year to year.

Julaine will also be serving as a panelist along with Stan Swim, director of The Sutherland Institute, economist Larry Kudlow of CNBC, and economists Dr. Wendy Warcholik and  J. Scott Moody of ACU Foundation to take on the daunting topic of the “State of the Family in America: How Do We Measure Success?” Starting at 9:45 a.m. EST (8:45 a.m.) on Friday, March 4, this panel will afford Julaine the opportunity to draw upon the many unique challenges and experiences that WFA has been involved in over the past decade and will serve as an opportunity for her to highlight the many successes that WFA, in full partnership with our many friends and supporters, have been able to achieve here in The Badger State.

Wisconsin Family Action is proud to have Julaine’s hard work here in Wisconsin being recognized on a national scale, and are certain that those in attendance at CPAC will benefit greatly from her participation in the event.

Other CPAC speakers include all of the 2016 conservative presidential candidates, as well as Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker and House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI), and many other conservative leaders from all across the nation.
