SIGN THE PETITION: Tell Gov Evers to OPEN WISCONSIN

On Thursday, April 16, 2020, Governor Tony Evers (D) issued, through the Department of Health Services, Emergency Order No. 28, which extends the current stay-at-home order to May 26, 2020. The current order is in effect through Friday, April 24.  While the extension makes very modest changes in some areas, in general, the order requires the state to remain shut down for another month.

Wisconsin Family Action believes at this point, given that the numbers reported regularly by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services show we have definitely “flattened” the COVID-19 curve, that it is prudent for the Governor to begin opening the state again in significant ways rather than extending the very stringent shut down for an additional 30 days. We believe a petition to the governor is in order. We urge concerned citizens to sign the petition; we will make sure the petitions are delivered to the governor.
