We are excited to debut our new presentation “We’re Here…For Such a Time as This!”
At Wisconsin Family Action and Wisconsin Family Council we believe that “We’re Here…For Such a Time as This!” We are alive and here right now by God’s design, not by coincidence or accident. We have an opportunity, just as Queen Esther did, to shape the future of our communities, state and nation. What will we do with the opportunities we have? What can we do to help ensure that freedom in America will not perish from the earth?
Supper is included! There is no charge for the event or the food—however, we will take a freewill offering at the end of the evening.

Today is the 66th Annual National Day of Prayer (NDOP). Governor Walker has signed a proclamation declaring May 4 as Wisconsin’s Annual Day of Prayer, and there are many events taking place across the state of Wisconsin as well as the nation.
In keeping with our long national history of presidents declaring national days of prayer and fasting, National Day of Prayer (first Thursday in May) is a congressionally declared observance since it was formally recognized in 1952. The National Day of Prayer Task Force is not a government organization. It is a private, not-for-profit entity dedicated to encouraging citizens, churches and communities to recognize and commemorate the day around the country.
The annual NDOP Madison State Capitol event will take place today from noon to 1 p.m. Join us as we pray for government, church, military, family, education, media, and business on the King Street Entrance to the state capitol. Wisconsin Family Action president, Julaine Appling, will be participating in the program, which is coordinated by the State NDP Director Joleen Helbig. In case of inclement weather, the noon event will be held in Room 413 North GAR in the capitol.)
Additionally, the Capitol Prayer Room (North 413 GAR, if in use North Hearing Room, 2nd Floor) will also be available starting at 8 a.m. with a time of worship. Prayer begins at 9 a.m. and continues throughout the day (except during the noon event) led by area churches and prayer ministries.
Wisconsin Family Council encourages churches to be open today (all day or specific hours), inviting people to stop in and pray as their schedules permit. We also urge families to set aside time today to pray together for America, Wisconsin, our communities, our churches and our families.
Wisconsin Family Council/Wisconsin Family Action’s biennial “Day at the Capitol” is Thursday, March 23, 2017. You’ll hear from key legislators, get legislative and organizational updates, visit your legislators in their capitol offices— and much, much more! Space is limited!

Have WE got a great IDEA for YOU! We are trying to create ONE LOUD VOICE on FRIDAY, September 19, at NOON. Everyone that has a FACEBOOK, TWITTER OR TUMBLER account can do this, and it’s super easy. We will all be putting the same message out on our media ““The privacy and safety of our kids is more important than any social experiment.” The best part is….it only takes a minute to participate and you’ll be a part of the voice that launches out across the nation – same day, same time, all media!
“We are moms, daughters, students, athletes, survivors and businesswomen who believe our voices matter.
There’s a growing trend among our nation’s politicians to allow men to enter women’s spaces — public bathrooms, showers, locker rooms. As if this weren’t absurd enough, none of these politicians seems interested in talking with us — the women who will be most impacted by these rules—to learn how we feel about it.
We are standing together to share our stories with you. Together we say, Ask Me First. We’ll tell you why these efforts are anti-woman, how they directly harm each of us, and why politicians should never consider bringing them forward.”
What’s going on in Wisconsin and how can you get involved?
Our sister organization, Wisconsin Family Council, invites you to hear WFC president Julaine Appling provide political involvement training for individuals and policy guidance for Pastors and their churches. Come join us for a great supper and a great challenge.

Join us and learn what the Casino Industry doesn’t want you to know, and what we can do to save Your community!
Proponents of off-reservation casinos paint gambling expansion as win-win for local communities- promising jobs, millions of dollars in economic development and reinvestment, and a never-ending source of revenue for local governments. But as so many communities have discovered the hard way, the honeymoon is often short lived, if it happens at all.
In Wisconsin, there are two such proposals pending before the Bureau of Indian Affairs for approval: Beloit and Shullsburg. And the proponents of these casinos have many people believing that they will save our communities from economic despair and be a local source of wholesome entertainment.
Wisconsin Family Action is co-hosting two informational events with Citizens Against Expanded Gambling in Shullsburg and Beloit next week to help citizens band together and stop these casinos.
