On Friday, October 16, at the Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee, RightWisconsin held the 2015 Right Women Awards which honors conservative women who have made an impact in The Badger State.
Wisconsin Family Action/Wisconsin Family Council president Julaine Appling was a finalist for the “Iron Lady” award. The award was presented to Deborah Jordahl, principal of Johnson Jordahl, a strategic communications and issue advocacy firm.
“The Iron Lady Award symbolizes the courage and self-sacrifice of a leader willing to risk comfort for the advancement a meritorious cause. The nominee should display leadership, inner strength, self-sacrifice, good communications skills, dedication and courage.”
The award was presented by conservative talk radio show host and author Charlie Sykes.
Wisconsin Family Action/Wisconsin Family Council congratulate Deborah for her hard work and courage under fire. All of the awards presented at the RightWisconsin event were well-deserved, and we are proud to stand alongside each finalist as we represent Wisconsin’s voice for marriage, family, life and liberty in The Badger State.
