Do you know anyone between the ages of 13 and 19? If so, we have something we think they will love: LEAD Wisconsin.

LEAD WI is a six-day, in-person event meticulously designed to equip youth to engage their culture from a Biblical perspective.

Whether at school or in the media, there’s no doubt that today’s young people are encountering an onslaught of behaviors and ideologies that are in direct conflict with the Word of God and His good intentions for us. LEAD WI has been created to help teens connect and build relationships with like-minded individuals, who seek to honor God with their thoughts and actions.

Throughout the week youth will be poured into by local leaders from the business, political and religious sectors. There will be discussion time where attendees will learn how to think about and respond to issues such as the LGBTQ+ initiative and the Black Lives Matter Movement from a biblical worldview. There will also be plenty of time for recreation and competition, because it is, after all, a summer camp!

If you know someone who LEAD WI would encourage and strengthen make sure you share it with them or sign them up. You don’t want to wait around because registration is $400 only until April 30! You can register, learn more or apply for financial aid HERE

Thank You for Voting
Pro-life, pro-family, pro-Liberty candidates perform well

For those who voted in Tuesday’s Spring Primary Elections, THANK YOU! Your vote is your voice in your community, in Wisconsin and beyond.

When you cast a ballot in any election you are setting an example of what it looks like to be an engaged citizen. You also make a difference in the consequences that every election brings.

We would also like to congratulate the following WFA PAC-endorsed candidates on winning their respective races:

Judge Shelley Grogan, Wisconsin Court of Appeals District II
Elijah Behnke, State Assembly District 90
John Jagler, State Senate District 13

Read the WFA PAC congratulatory press release HERE.

Wisconsin’s Department of Natural Resources announced earlier this week that it is participating in Citizen Science Month, honoring volunteers in scientific research and monitoring.

Owen Boyle, DNR Species Management Section Chief said, “The data collected by citizen scientists are critical to helping carry out science-based management of Wisconsin’s natural resources, particularly endangered resources. ” You can read more HERE.

In Wednesday’s Wisconsin Family Minute broadcast, Julaine Appling, president of WFA, urged parents to take this opportunity to help their children engage with the handiwork of their Creator by going outside:

“This is a great opportunity for families to get outdoors and teach kids about God’s glorious and diverse creation. It’s a time to showcase our Creator God while adding to the body of knowledge about the nature He has created. We remind the next generation that we worship God, not science, all while having fun, building family bonds, and making lasting memories.”

“The Arkansas legislature has overridden Republican Gov. Asa Hutchinson’s veto of legislation that would prohibit ‘sex-reassignment’ surgery or hormone treatment to minors afflicted with gender confusion, moving swiftly after the governor’s rejection of the law.” You can read more HERE.

In response to this news, Julaine Appling, President of Wisconsin Family Council, commented, “It’s sad we need legislation to stop medical professionals from performing or prescribing life-altering, irreversible surgeries and/or hormone therapies for minors. We urge parents to talk to their pre-teens and teens about this issue, reinforcing that God loves them and doesn’t make mistakes when He creates us male or female.”
