It’s been 45 years since Roe v. Wade, and the pro-life movement is stronger than ever.
Last week, thousands of pro-life Americans took a stand for life at the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C. This year’s theme, “Love Saves Lives,” reminds us that women facing unplanned pregnancies have options besides abortion—like adoption—that protect life and demonstrate love.

“Including the “first freedom,” as our founders called freedom of religion, as a part of the pro-life movement really is critical,” says Julaine Appling, WFA president, “For the sake of children, faith-based adoption agencies need to flourish, not operate under the threat of having the government close their doors. A private enterprise acting consistently on a set of religious beliefs should not even be questioned, let alone threatened.”
